Inspector Notes

An unannounced on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/28/2022. There were 6 children, ages 1 years-3 years, and 1 staff member present during the inspection. The inspector observed the following: free choice activities, lunch and preparing for nap. A total of 3 children?s records and one staff record were reviewed. The inspector arrived at 10:45 AM and departed the program at 12:00 PM.

Based on observation, the licensee failed to ensure that all poisonous substances were not accessible to the children in care.

Evidence:
1. Observed beside the trash can in the kitchen was a gallon of bleach that was accessible to the children in care.
Plan of Correction: During the inspection the licensee moved the container of bleach to a locked cabinet.
