Inspector Notes

An unannounced code compliance inspection was conducted on 07/24/2024 from 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM. There were 79 children present with 18 staff, ranging in age from 4 months to five years. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and procedures. A total of seven children?s records and seven staff?s records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. Based on record review and interview, the center failed to establish and implement a procedure to ensure all children in the center are in compliance with immunization provisions.

Evidence:

The center's policy is for immunizations to be obtained once every six months for children under the age of two years. Child 6, age 13 months, has immunization record dated 08/04/2023.
Plan of Correction: The updated immunization record was obtained the day of the inspection. In the future the administrator will ensure updated immunizations will be obtained every six months as required.
