Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/9/26 from 10:50 am to 11:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 6 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 19. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records, 2 caregiver's and 1 household member's record on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-890
When food is brought from home, the food container must be clearly labeled to identify it's owner.
One child's food container brought from home was not labeled with the child's name.
Plan of Correction: I will ensure that all food containers from home are labeled.
Standard 8VAC20-800-960-E
Bottles shall be refrigerated and labeled with the child's full name and the date, if more than one infant is in care.
There were two infants in care during the inspection. One milk for was not labeled with name and date. Another milk bottle did not have the date.
Plan of Correction: I will ensure that infant milk bottles are labeled with name and date.
