Inspector Notes

An in-person mandated renewal inspection was conducted on September 20, 2022 from 10:00am until 10:45am. There were 10 children present with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 1 household member record and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the provider does not have a current CPR certification.

Evidence: The provider's CPR expired on 9/13/2022.

Based on observation, unused electrical outlets did not have child-resistant protective covers in place.

Evidence: Two unused electrical outlets located behind a crib utilized by infants did not have child-resistant protective covers in place.
Plan of Correction: We will cover the outlets.

Based on observation and interview, infants' bottles were not labeled with the child's full name and date when more than one infant is in care.

Evidence: Provided stated there are 3 infants in care. There were 3 bottles without a child's name and date.
