Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was completed on 05/01/2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:24 a.m. and ended at 5:33 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 139 children present and 22 staff. The inspector reviewed 10 children?s records and 10 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 05/28/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.
Violations
5Staff shall complete annually a minimum of 16 hours of training annually, appropriate to the age of children in care. The record for S3 documented 14 of 16 training hours for 11/2023 ? 11/2024. The record for S4 documented 7 of 16 training hours for 5/2023 ? 05/2024. The record for S8 documented 8 of 16 training hours for 08/2023 - 08/2024. The record for S9 documented 10 of 16 training hours for 09/2023- 09/2024. The record for S10 documented 10.5 of 16 training hours for 06/2023 ? 06/2024.
When a feeding table is being used for children under 12 months, the protective belt shall be fastened securely. One infant was observed at a feeding table in the Beach Babies Room without a protective belt being securely fastened.
The written agreement between the parent and the center shall include the statement that the parent will inform the center within 24 hours or the next business day after his child or any member of the immediate family has developed any reportable communicable disease. The signed agreements for C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, and C9 were missing this element.
