Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 9 children (20pts) with 2 staff and 1 household member were present. The children were free playing with toys and equipment in the main programming space. The home was found organized and well maintained. Two infants were observed being repositioned by staff and allowing for tummy time and ensuring their safety around the older children. Hand washing procedures were observed prior to lunch. The children were placed in high chairs and safety belts were fastened. Observation of the crib room, diapering area and the programming space was made. No new staff or household members since the last inspection in August. All background checks remain current at this time. Staff were registered for an upcoming online training through the Infant and Toddler System. A total of 4 children's records were reviewed. No medication needs at this time and no topical ointments onsite. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me with any questions at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov
