Inspector Notes

An allegation was received by the Fairfax Licensing Office concerning physical plant, equipment and preventing the spread of disease. The allegation involved potty chairs used by the youngest in the Toddler classrooms, running water and sanitation of toilet chairs. Based on the preponderance of evidence with observation and staff interviews, the allegation of children not washing their hands properly or chairs not being emptied promptly or cleaned is unfounded. The sink between the 2 toddler bathrooms (which each contained a child sized toilet and 3 potty chairs) was missing disposable paper towels. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
