Inspector Notes

An unannounced Subsidy and Health Inspection was conducted with in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. One staff record was reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR. The last lockdown drill was documented on 1/10/23.

Based on a review of documentation training, the provider did not complete the department's health and safety updated course. Evidence: The provider stated that she did not complete the updated health and safety training course for subsidy.
Plan of Correction: The provider stated that she was unaware of the updated training and would complete the training as soon as possible.
