Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 02/11/2025 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 1:00pm and ended at 2:30pm.The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. There were 20 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 staff record. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-245-A
Staff shall complete annually a minimum of 16 hours of training appropriate to
the age of children in care.

Staff A and Staff B did not have documentation that they completed the minimum of 16 hours of annual training in 2024.
Plan of Correction: The owner is aware that some staff had not completed all the required training hours and some have obtained training hours that had yet to be logged into the training binder. The owner had already implemented a plan for staff to complete all required training from last year and for the new year.
