Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on August 26, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard 8VAC20-790-180-B
The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

During the inspection, 7 children were present but only 6 children were signed in. Child #1 had arrived an hour and a half prior to the inspection and not recorded on the daily attendance record.
Plan of Correction: The attendance record was immediately corrected and attendance will be taken as it occurs.

Lockdown procedures shall be practiced at least annually.

There was no record of a lockdown procedure being conducted.
Plan of Correction: A new drill log will be used to document lockdown drills at least annually.
