Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 3/9/2022. There were 12 children present with two caregivers supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

The information gathered during the inspection determined one violation which is documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the violation notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 4:00pm on Wednesday, 3/16/2022. Based on review of documentation, it was determined that not all caregivers have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care with training that included an in-person competency demonstration. Evidence: the record for caregiver #2 (date of hire: 9/14/21) had documentation of CPR from the National CPR Foundation which doesn't include an in-person competency demonstration.
Plan of Correction: She is going to get her CPR class and first aid class soon. Made the appointment for her.
