An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 08/19/2022 from 9:30am to12:00pm. There were 10 children ages 21 months to age 4 years old (23 points) with the Provider and 1 assistant. The programming area, menus, Provider, Assistant and Household member records, 10 child records, attendance, emergency drills, emergency plan and emergency supplies were observed. A new staff member has been hired since the last inspection. Children were observed participating in group play, singing the alphabet, dancing and dramatic play. Staff were current with certification in CPR and First Aid. Staff to child ratios were in compliance during the inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the Violation Notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 5pm on 9/1/2022 . Please email me at angela.dudek@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
