8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 02/12/2024 from 11:15am to 12:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The programming area, attendance, menus, Provider, Substitute and Household member records, 7 children?s records, emergency drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Provider is not giving medications currently. Children were observed playing with dinosaurs and blocks. The provider and substitute are current with CPR and First Aid training. There were no areas of non-compliance observed during the inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
