Inspector Notes

An Unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted on 5/17/2022. There were 13 children (35 points) directly supervised by 3 caregivers. The home,3 caregiver records, 3 children's records, 4 household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely inside the main and infant/toddler play room. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that child resistant protective covers were installed on all unused electrical outlets accessible to children under 5 years of age.

Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home.
Evidence: observed that there were 13 children in care. The provider is currently licensed with a capacity of 12 children.

Based on review, the provider did not ensure that children's records were maintained with the required information.
