Inspector Notes

An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 12/15/23_ from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Three staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice, Health & Safety Update training, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. There are no children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Beth Velke, at beth.velke@doe.virginia.gov or 804-629-8302.
