8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Subsidy Providers

Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/21/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 12:10pm and ended at 1:40pm. There were 3 caregivers with 5 children in 3 rooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed resting. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and play areas were inspected. The provider stated that there were no medications kept at the family day home. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
