Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/24/21. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 8 children (23 points) and 2 caregivers present. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records, 2 caregiver's records and 2 household member's records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Additional family day home records were also reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. For any questions related to this inspection, please contact me at 571-835-4718 or mahrukh.aziz@dss.virginia.gov.
