When topical skin products such as diaper ointment are used, the product shall be kept in
an area that is inaccessible to children.

During the inspection, there was one topical product being stored in an unsecured drawer under the changing table that was accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: The skin product was removed from the drawer at the time of the inspection and is no longer accessible to children. All topical skin products will be stored in a manner that is inaccessible to children going forward.

When topical skin products such as diaper ointment and lotion are used, the product shall not be used beyond the expiration date on the product.

At the time of the inspection, child #2 had an expired tube of Aquaphor available for use. The product expired seven months ago.
Plan of Correction: The expired skin product was disposed of at the time of the inspection. Expiration dates of skin products will be checked regularly going forward to ensure they are sent home or disposed of by the date of expiration.

The emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.

No evacuation drill was completed for the month of December 2025. The provider stated that she forgot to conduct the December drill.
Plan of Correction: The provider will make sure to complete an emergency evacuation drill every month.
