Violations

2
Standard 8VAC20-780-520-B
Based on observation, topical products were accessible to children under the age of five.

Evidence: Two sunscreen bottles were on an accessible shelf, within reach of children.
Plan of Correction: The sunscreen was moved to a locked cabinet after our inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-780-560-G
Based on observation and interviewer with the provider, the center did not ensure that food brought from home was clearly dated.

Evidence: All children are bringing their lunch from home, and none of the lunch boxes were dated. The administrative assistant stated they document that each child has a lunch when they're dropped off.
Plan of Correction: When we return from summer break, we will require parents to date all lunch boxes.
