Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/7/2023 from 1:50 pm - 2:45 pm. There were 4 children supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, 1 household member record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed napping. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Based on record review and interview, the provider did not annually review with the parent the emergency contact information to ensure the information was correct and obtain the parent?s signed acknowledgment of the review.

Evidence:
1. Child #1's last annual emergency contact review was on 8/22/2022.
2. Child #2's last annual emergency contact review was on 2/6/2022.
Plan of Correction: All the information we have about the children including the emergency contact is the same the parents signed the child record when they picked up the children on the same day of inspection

Based on record review and interview, the provider did not review the emergency plan at least annually and update the plan as needed. The provider did not document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan.
