Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/7/2023 and concluded on 12/7/2023. There were 16 children present with three staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10:30 am and concluded at 11:35 am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center failed to ensure that restroom sinks are supplied with warm water that does not exceed 120 F.
Evidence:
The sink in the two year old classroom had a water temperature of 129.7 F, exceeding 120 F.
Plan of Correction: The director had the water temperature turned down and will monitor the temperatures periodically.
