Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted today, between 8:15am and 10:30am. There were 55 children present, with 14 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence
The hallway laundry closet door has a lock that is broken, making cleaning material accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: A work order was put in today to replace the broken lock.
