Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:15 a.m. and ending at 10:15 a.m. with the provider. There were two children in care ages three years old for a total of four points. Children were observed participating in lessons about emotions and letters. Hand washing procedures were observed. Child care areas were observed.

Emergency drills were up to date.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, not all electrical outlets were equipped with protective covers. Evidence: Near the nap cots, one outlet was uncovered. In the bathroom, one outlet was uncovered by the light switch. In the living room area, an extension cord was plugged in and accessible and did not have protective covers on the unused outlet plugs.

Based on observation, the weekly menu was not complete for the one week period. Evidence: The weekly menu included Monday through Wednesday but was not complete for Thursday or Friday.
