This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A complaint investigation was received, initiated and concluded on May 5, 2021, regarding care of children. During the investigation three staff and one person with collateral information and one public agency representative were interviewed. The information gathered does not support the allegation and complaint is found to be not valid. There were not any other violations identified during the investigation. The center's procedures and policies for response to exposure to communicable disease was reviewed at length with teaching and administrative staff during the investigation.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
