Inspector Notes

An unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted this date. A total of 10 children (24pts) were present with the Provider and 2 Assistants. When the Inspector arrived, the children were completing some painting projects. One child observed drinking a bottle with staff seated next to them for supervision. Walk through of the entire home was completed. Observation of the 2 cribs that are in use currently was made. No medication onsite at this time. Staff were observed promptly attending to children's needs such as feeding them or comforting them. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed. Annual training for all staff well documented. One violation found today. A corrective action was discussed with the provider. Thank you for your cooperation today. Evidence:
A topical ointment for Child #3 expired in January 2022.
A topical ointment for Child #4 expired in April 2021
Plan of Correction: The ointments will either be disposed of or returned to the parents.
