8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 6/14/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:35am-10:50am. There were 11 children (28 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
