Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/06/23 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with the provider. There were three children in care, ranging in age from two to 10-years-old, for a total of four points. Children were observed playing with puzzles. Four child records and three staff records were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. No medications were on site and the provider has current Medication Administration Training (MAT). The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed.Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Violations
3Evidence: A long wire was laying on the top stair of the stairway that leads from the backyard to the entrance of the daycare area, causing a potential trip hazard.
Evidence: There was a container of disinfectant wipes and an air freshener spray located in a bottom cabinet, accessible to children.
Evidence: A surge protector had three electrical outlets uncovered in the programming space.
