Inspector Notes

An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/06/2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Three staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice, Health & Safety Update training, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. There are no children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies. The last lockdown drill was documented on 10/26/23. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Beth Velke, at beth.velke@doe.virginia.gov or 804-629-8302.

Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the Violation Notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 5pm on 11/29/23.
