Inspector Notes

An unannounced on-site renewal inspection was conducted on 06/22/2023. There were 69 children, ages 3 months-12 years, and 15 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector observed the following: free choice activities, large motor play outside, lunch and nap. A total of 5 children?s records and 5 staff records, were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following with staff: application for renewal. The inspector arrived at 10:30AM and departed at 12:30 PM.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all diapering procedures per the standard were followed.

Evidence:

Observed a diapering in the toddler room and the diaper changing mat was not sanitized after each use. The staff person used a cleaning chemical and wiped it off with a towel and did not complete the sanitizing step.
Plan of Correction: The staff person was reminded by the director to ensure all steps were followed.
