Inspector Notes

A Monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 11 children (26pts) were present with 3 staff. The children were seated at the table with staff engaged in playing with playdoh. The children were busy making pretend food with the playdoh. One infant was sleeping in the crib room and 2 older children were playing a board game on the floor. Walk thru of the program area was made. A nice transition from the table activities to the floor was made where the children began playing with toys and equipment available to them. Morning snack was served which consisted of crackers and yogurt. Staff were observed assisting with spoon feeding the younger children in high chairs. A total of 5 children's records, all staff records and 1 household record was reviewed. Previous violations were reviewed and the corrective actions were verified. This inspection occurred between 9am and 10:45am. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
