Areas and furnishings of the family day home, outside, shall be maintained in a safe and operable condition.
At the time of the inspection, the children?s outdoor play area had several wooden fence boards that were protruding and not attached at the bottom.
The handrails leading to the porch were splintered.
Two areas along the edge of a concrete slab were cracked and uneven, creating a tripping hazard.
One bench was missing a wooden slat, and another bench was deteriorated and broken.

At the time of the inspection, disinfectant wipes were on the children?s table in the kitchen next to the refrigerator and were accessible to children.

At the time of the inspection, Child #2 (21 months) had a pillow on their assigned cot. The provider stated that the child uses the pillow during nap time.

At the time of the inspection, the provider stated they use the children?s cots for diapering. It was observed that the cot surfaces are absorbent.
