Inspector Notes

The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection under the supervision of the licensing administrator on 10/17/2022 from 12:05 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. There were 76 children present, ranging in ages from 6 months to 5 years old, with 16 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staffing and supervision, special care and emergencies.
Additional interviews were conducted by the licensing inspector and licensing administrator on 10/28/2022, and the exit interview was conducted on 11/15/2022.
The information gathered during the investigation supports the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be valid.

Evidence:
1. 10 of the 10 staff interviews confirmed that the center was not implementing monthly practice evacuation drills.

Based on interviews, the center failed to ensure that shelter in place procedures were practiced a minimum of twice a year.
