Inspector Notes

A complaint was received regarding staffing and supervision on December 13, 2022. A complaint inspection was conducted on Monday, December 19, 2022. The inspector was on site from approximately 11:20 AM to 12:45 PM. The inspection included a review of center documentation and interviews with staff members. Based on information obtained during the inspection the preponderance of evidence does support the allegation related to staffing and supervision therefore the complaint is determined to be valid. Based on review of written attendance record and staff times recorded, the center did not maintain the required supervision ratio of staff to children for children in the preschool classroom.
Evidence:
1. On Tuesday, November 29, 2022 between 8:13 AM - 8:36 AM, there was one staff with approximately 15 children in the PreK classroom. Children range between the ages of 3 -5 years. The required ratio was one staff member for every 10 children.
