Inspector Notes

An annual RECDC health and safety inspection was conducted today from 11:00-11:55am. The center had 34 children in care with 12 staff within the supervision guidelines. A tour of the facility was conducted, records were reviewed, and observations were made. The children were
observed creating art projects, participating in music class, playing outside, and learning about letters in circle time. Based on a review of staff records, 1 out of 4 staff did not submit to fingerprinting before employment.

Evidence:
1. Staff #1 (doh: 9/1/2022) did not have documentation of the fingerprint based criminal history record check on file during the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I will have the employee get the fingerprints background check done right away.
