Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 8/26/2025. The on-site inspection began at 7:33 am and ended at 8:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There was 1 child present and 1 caregiver; the point total was 3. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-180-A
(Repeat Violation) A tuberculosis (TB) screening is required every two years from the last screening. An updated TB screening for Caregiver/Household Member #2 was not completed and was overdue by five months.
Plan of Correction: Will get TB by September 1, 2025.
Standard 8VAC20-800-320-B
Child-resistant protective covers larger than 1-1/4 inches in diameter shall be installed on all unused electrical outlets. There were 4 outlets in the living room and 1 outlet in the dining room that did not have protective covers.
Plan of Correction: Will purchase outlet covers and install them.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-A
The emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care. There were no drills conducted in June or July 2025.
Plan of Correction: Will conduct extra drills.
