Inspector Notes

An unannounced non-mandated inspection, required for a Provisional License, was conducted on 09/01/2022. There were 46 children, ages 5 year-12 years, and 6 staff members were present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, physical plant, and staffing and supervision. The children were observed in the following: arriving to the program, during afternoon snack and in indoor and outdoor free choice activities. A total of 5 children?s records and 4 staff records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 2:10 pm and departed at 3:40 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that each restroom area provided for children shall be equipped with soap, toilet paper, and disposable towels or an air dryer within reach of children.
Evidence: There was no soap in the boys or girls restrooms.
Plan of Correction: Will put soap in the restrooms.
