Inspector Notes

An in-person monitoring inspection was conducted on March 1, 2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from 13 months to 5 years old, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 2 staff records and 1 household member records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview, the caregivers did not obtain a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.

Evidence: The provider stated both herself and the assistant caregiver did not complete the required 16 hours of training. There were no certificates provided for completed trainings for either caregiver.
