Each staff person shall have current certifications of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation appropriate to the ages of children in care. Staff #3 has an expired CPR and First Aid certificate as of January 2025.
Plan of Correction: The center?s plan of correction: Staff #3 will take the First aid and CPR class as soon as possible and the certificate will be placed in their record. Each staff file will be audited to ensure that all certificates are up to date and not expired.

training annually attend at least 16 hours of training and staff development activities. Two of the five staff records reviewed did not have the 2024, 3 Hour Preservice Training.

Plan of Correction: The center?s plan of correction: The center will have both staff members take the 3 Hour Virginia Preservice Training. The Director will ensure that all staff members complete the 3 hour training through Penn State.
