Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/28/2023 from 12:55pm to 1:55pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 11 children ages 3 months to age 4 years old (30 points) with the Provider and an assistant. The programming area, attendance, menus, Provider, Assistant and Household member records, 5 children?s records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Outdoor area was not inspected due to the weather. There were no medications onsite. Children were observed napping and feeding. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in CPR and First Aid training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
