Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/13/2023. There were 30 children, ages 6 months ? 4 years, 7 staff and 1 administrative staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during circle time and lunch. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 11:00am and departed the center at 12:41pm.
Discussion on standards related to special feeding needs.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.
Violations
2Evidence: A diaper genie was observed in the restroom by the changing table that is in use in the infant room on the left side of the center that is foot operated but the flaps inside the diaper genie require staff to use their hands to insert the diaper and staff hands come in contact with the exterior surface of the storage system.
