Inspector Notes

A non-mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on September 29, 2023 from 9:28 A.M.-11:30 P.M.There were 46 children present, ranging in ages from seven months to five years of age, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records and one staff record, and on volunteer record were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the facility failed to ensure that resilient surfacing shall comply with minimum safety standards and shall be under and around all equipment with moving parts or climbing apparatus.

Evidence:,
There was bare ground exposed at the bottom of the blue slide and climbing wall on the large play equipment in the middle of the play area, and at the end of the red slide next to fence in the play area.
Plan of Correction: Mulch was ordered 30 days ago the earlies they can deliver is 10/04/2023. Once it arrives it will be placed in all the required areas.
