Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 08/12/2025 and completed on 08/13/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:26 AM and ended at 12:05 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 60 children present and 15 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records, and 5 staff on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

When food is brought from home, the containers need to be dated.

The lunches in the Pre-K room were not all dated with today?s date.
Plan of Correction: The lunches will be labeled. Staff will monitor.
Standard 8VAC20-780-570-A
When a child is placed in an infant seat or highchair, the protective belt shall be fastened securely.

In the mobile infant room the children were sitting in the highchairs on the floor with no protective belts fastened.
Plan of Correction: The director reminded staff to use the protective belts when in use.
