Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 03/20/2022 and concluded on 03/30/2022. The provider submitted documentation to the inspector on 03/20/2022 and the inspector conducted an unannounced inspection on-site on 03/30/2022 from approximately 10:45am to 11:45am. There were 5 children present with one caregiver. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four children's records and one caregiver's records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of records and interview, the provider did not ensure that one provider had current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as appropriate to the age of the children in care.

Evidence: 1) The most recent CPR certification in the record for Caregiver #1 was dated 01/11/2020 and expired on 01/2022. 2) During interview, Caregiver #1 confirmed the certification had expired and had not been renewed.
Plan of Correction: A CPR/First Aid class has been scheduled for 04/30/2022.

Evidence: 1) The most recent first aid certification in the record for Caregiver #1 was dated 01/11/2020 and expired on 01/2022. 2) During interview, Caregiver #1 confirmed the certification had expired and had not been renewed.
