Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 08/22/2022 between the hours of approximately 2:15 p.m. and 3:07 p.m. There were 4 children present, between the ages of 2 years and 4 years, with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 8 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed napping and playing with puzzles. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and caregiver records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
2Evidence:
1. The green vinyl splash block under the gutter at the back of the house had cracked, sharp edges.
2. There were rusty staples protruding from the fence in the backyard.
3. There was peeling white paint on the fence in the backyard.
4. There was splintered, deteriorating wood on the border around the mulch.
Evidence: In the kitchen, a toaster and toaster oven were plugged in while not in use.
