During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 10/10/2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:55am and ended at 1:20pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 79 children present and 17 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Documentation must be maintained of emergency evacuation, shelter in place, and lockdown drills and include all required information.

Documentation of emergency drills did not contain documentation of the number of staff members participating.
Plan of Correction: The information was added to the log during the inspection. The center will ensure all required information is captured on the record of emergency drills.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled that contains all of the required information.

The record for Child #2, enrolled for one month, was missing the following required components: Name, address, and phone number of one of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached
Plan of Correction: The center will contact the parent to request the information.
