Inspector Notes

An in-person renewal inspection was initiated on January 26, 2022 and concluded on January 27, 2022. There were 4 children present, ranging in ages from 10 months to 5 years, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 1 staff record and 1 household member records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, provider did not ensure all household members submitted to a fingerprint criminal history record check prior to the living in the home.

Evidence: Household member 1 does not have a result for a fingerprint history record check prior to living in the home.
Plan of Correction: I have sent it in but do not have the result. I will follow up.

Based on observation, the provider did not ensure the portable electric heater was located in an area inaccessible to children and did not have a barrier or a screen.

Evidence: A portable electric heater was observed on the floor accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: I will place it on a stable surface out of reach of children.
