8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on-site February 28, 2023. There was one child present with one staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.
Violations
3Evidence: Four children were signed in on the attendance sheet while one child was observed in attendance. Child #2, #3, and #4 were not signed out on the attendance sheet. The provider acknowledged the three children were not signed out.
Evidence: The record of caregiver #2 did not contain documentation of a current CPR certification. A review of the staff record previously, indicated the CPR certification expired 8/22/2021.
Evidence: The record of caregiver #2 did not contain documentation of a current first aid certification. A review of the staff record previously, indicated the first aid certification expired 8/22/2021.
