Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 11:20am- 12:40pm. There were 10 children (27 points) directly supervised by the provider and 2 assistant caregivers. The home, 3 caregiver records, 3 children?s records, 4 household member?s records, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Children were observed eating lunch, listening to story time, and preparing for naptime. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the family day home did not obtain documentation of additional immunizations every 6 months for one child under the age of 2.

Evidence:
1. The most recent immunizations in the record for Child #1, age 16 months, were dated 8/16/2022.
Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents today for updated immunizations.
