Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:00 noon ? 12:45pm with the provider and her assistant. There were eight children in care, ranging from 11 months to four years of age, for a total of 20 points. Children were observed finishing lunch, brushing teeth, and watching an age-appropriate video to prepare for naptime. Lunch served today: chicken with rice, carrots, celery and potatoes, with cantaloupe and "witches brew," which consists of milk, kale, banana and apple, to drink. Two child records, two caregiver records, the emergency drill log, daily attendance, first aid kit and the menu were reviewed. The provider is not certified in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and cannot administer medication to children in care. If you have further questions about this inspection please contact Donna Liberman at 540-359-5244 or Donna.Liberman@doe.virginia.gov.
