Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/30/23 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Director. There were 60 children in care, ranging in age from six months to five-years-old, supervised by 11 staff. The children were observed eating morning snack and preparing to go outside. Eight child records and seven staff records were reviewed. Required postings were observed. The attendance, menu, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery operated radio were observed. 2Based on review of eight child records, the center did not obtain documentation of a physical in each child record within 30 days after the first day of attendance.
Evidence: The record for Child # 5, with a start date of 05/30/23, did not contain documentation of a physical at the time of inspection.
